Diving into the culinary scene here was a highlight—local eats like the Danish pastries made for a sweet start to the day! The vibe was warm with friendly staff and a cozy bar area. Enjoyed a spot of evening dining that was clean and decent, bringing everyone together.
The room felt a touch outdated, and despite it being on the pricier end, the evening meals lacked a bit of kick. it was an odd vibe and didn't quite feel worth the price tag.

Set in a beautiful village, the location is truly remarkable, with clean and comfortable accommodations. The food is commendable, especially the fried fish, and the breakfast selection is excellent. one staff member's unwelcoming demeanor detracted significantly from the experience, along with issues regarding service and the bar seating policies that were not clearly communicated. This combination of factors left a mixed impression.

Check-in at George and Dragon felt warm and welcoming. I loved the cozy bar with a good selection of beers. Dinner was decent, with tasty meals and generous portions, and breakfast was enjoyable too. the building needs some attention on the outside, and the rooms lacked maintenance despite being a good size. My room was comfortable, but I could hear noise from the bar below, which made it tough to rest early. Staff were generally friendly, but I noticed some were inexperienced, affecting service.

Couple seeking cozy stay
The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had a great experience with my favorite moment being when the cook went to the local shop to get some gluten-free options for breakfast since I'm a bit particular about my meals and that really impressed me. Another highlight was the portion size of the evening meals they served us on warm plates which is a rarity nowadays and believe me those warm plates made the food feel even more satisfying.
It certainly wasn’t cheap but still quite acceptable for the experience we had.
